SOME DOGS NEED A LITTLE MORE UNDERSTANDING

Right now, Sydney Dogs & Cats Home urgently needs foster carers and adopters for dogs who may:

Need to be the only dog in the home
Be large or strong dogs
Be timid, anxious, or still building confidence
Need extra patience, structure, and consistency

These dogs are often overlooked, simply because they need the right match.

But with patience and the right home, these dogs can thrive.

In particular we're looking for people who:

Have a secure backyard
Don't currently have other dogs in their homes
Are comfortable with larger dogs
Are experienced with dogs who are not dog social
Are experienced with timid and anxious dogs

You won't be alone - we will provide behavioural guidance and support, vet care support for foster carers, ongoing advice throughout the process.
