Sydney Dogs & Cats Home now offers vet services to the general public at our Strathfield South Clinic.

Our experienced and caring team work within a fully equipped veterinary hospital ready to help your pets with their medical and surgical needs. We are passionate about providing a low stress environment, with staff undertaking a Fear Free Shelter program as part of their training. This helps us give you and your furbaby the best possible experience.

For almost 80 years, animal welfare has been at the heart of all we do and we look forward to meeting you and your pets.

OUR SERVICES

We offer a variety of vet and animal care services to help you and your pet, such as (but not limited to) early age desexing, annual health check ups, vaccinations, dentistry, opthomology, radiology, ultrasonography, general medicine, surgery, behavioural medicine, microchipping, and specialist care for senior pets. So call us on 9587 9611 to find out more or book today.

SPOTLIGHT ON:

desexing

Desexing can provide a number of health benefits for your pet, such as a reduced risk of cancer and other diseases of the reproductive organs. Plus desexing can result in a decrease in negative behaviours, such as wondering, anti-social and aggressive behaviours. Advantages like these can mean a desexed pet lives a longer and healthier life, which we all want for our pet!

Do you have a dog or cat who is exhibiting unwanted behaviours? Our Pawsitive Behaviour Consulting Program, based on up-to-date scientific research can help you. Focused on rewards-based training, our team of behaviourists, are ready to help you and your pet. For more information, or to book in, contact Ana on 9587 9611 or click the button below.

Vaccinating your dog or cat, puppy or kitten is one of the most important things you can do to help pet stay healthy and protected against the most common and contageous life threatening diseases. To ensure peace of mind, and to ensure your furry friends stay up to date, book to schedule their vacination now.

Dr Laura Taylor
