Meet Ronan– A Special Boy Seeking a Special Home 🐾

Hi, I’m Ronan. I’m a 2-year-old pup looking for a very specific kind of home — one built on patience, understanding, and commitment.

I experience anxiety and some behavioural challenges that mean I need ongoing support. I’m currently on anxiety medication to help me feel more balanced, and I’ll need adopters who are prepared to continue working with me on my behavioural journey. Transitions are hard for me, and I can take time to adjust to new environments and new people. I may be hesitant at first, and building trust doesn’t happen overnight.

Because of my behavioural needs, I’m not able to go on walks right now. Instead, I’ll need a secure backyard where I can safely enjoy fresh air and enrichment at home. Mental stimulation, routine, and calm structure will be very important parts of my world.

I’m looking for:

A quiet, adult-only home (no children)

A secure backyard for safe outdoor time

No other dogs — I need to be the only pet

Experienced, patient adopters willing to continue behavioural support and management

While I come with extra responsibilities, I also come with heart. Once I feel safe and begin to trust you, I form a deep bond. I enjoy relaxing near my person, splooting beside you with a tasty chew, and sharing peaceful moments together. When I know I’m secure, I can be affectionate, loyal, and incredibly rewarding.

I won’t be the right fit for everyone — and that’s okay. I need someone who sees the value in helping a dog continue to grow, who understands that progress takes time, and who is ready to celebrate the small wins along the way.
