Hi there, I’m Mister!

I’m a gentle, affectionate soul with a heart as big as my love for belly rubs. I would love a home where I get to be with my people a lot.

That said, I’ve shown I can handle a bit of alone time too! I’ve been left at home while my foster family’s at work and have shown little sign of stress or anxiety. I’ve even learned the routine and patiently wait by the door at 3pm, knowing that’s when my people come home!

I barely ever bark (unless I’ve got the zoomies and want to play), and I’m a clever boy who already knows how to sit, stay, and come. I’m also learning to engage and disengage nicely when walking on the lead — I’m a fast learner with a big heart!

I’d love a home with a secure backyard where I can enjoy some sunshine and sniff time, before curling up inside with you for a cosy nap or just to keep you company. I’m a respectful, easy-going guy who enjoys the little things in life: a fluffy toy, a soft bed, and a tasty treat.

I love all people including children, but dogs are a bit harder for me. I REALLY want to be friends, so I get frustrated when I’m on leash and can’t approach, and upset when they shout at me. I have been learning to walk past other dogs with the help of treats. When I do get to meet a dog, I am a bit intense at first and need some management, but once I know they are friendly, I relax and follow the other dog’s lead. I can wrestle and run, or lie on the ground and gently play bitey-face – whatever the other dog wants to do. I could live with another dog if I get to meet them first to make sure we are compatible.
