Andre the Giant

True to his name, Andre the Giant is a big, beautiful boy with an even bigger heart!

From the moment he arrived in foster care, Andre settled in like he’d always lived here—no hiding, no fuss. He strolled right in, made himself comfortable on the bed, and has been a calm, loving presence ever since.

Andre is super friendly with everyone he meets, offering his gentle affection to all housemates and visitors alike. He’s eating well, using the litter box like a champ, and generally being an all-around lovely lad. His biggest hobby is sleeping – most of the time you’ll find him curled up in a sunny spot, snoozing the day away. He does have a playful streak though and will happily chase around a toy when offered.

Andre loves affection on his terms and may sometimes not enjoy too many pats, though he’ll happily snuggle up in your bed each night and grace you with his adorable presence. As such he’d best suit a home without young kids, as he’d love a family that can respect his regal boundaries. He’ll greet you every time you walk in the door and follow you throughout the home, often sitting or lying right beside you.

Andre the Giant would suit a home where he gets plenty of companionship and love. He may appreciate a home where someone is around often, or perhaps a fellow furry friend to keep him company. If you’ve got space in your heart (and on your bed) for a big softie who just wants to love and be loved, Andre the Giant is your guy.
