VOLUNTEERING: OPPORTUNITIES (MIN 18 YEARS OLD)
Volunteers play a very important part in helping us do what we do. Below is just a few ways volunteers can get involved:
- General Kennel Activities including; Dog Walking, Cleaning, Feeding, Grooming and Playtime
- Cat Socialisation & Kitten Cuddles
- General Cleaning, Feeding, Grooming, Playtime for Pocket Pets
- Assisting at Special Events
- Furry Resident Transportation
- Become a Reception Assistant

BECOME A FOSTER CARER
Our Foster Care Program is one of our key projects - providing people with the opportunity to enjoy having a pet in their home without the long term responsibility or financial commitment. While they are in your care, you will get to experience the wonderful aspects of having a pet whilst providing them with a loving short-term home.

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is proud to run programs which pair rescue animals with some of our communities at-risk humans. We partner with organisations to facilitate specialist programs in Aged Care, Mental Health, and Disability Care.
Other programs include:
- Study Placements (practical experience)
- Community Integration (asylum seekers)
- Community Service
