Huckleberry (available from foster care)
– lazy bones
– loves a cheek massage
– will need a quiet patient home to settle in
– FIV positive
This distinguished gentleman is looking for his next suitable abode. Huckleberry can be an independent man who knows what he likes. Not a morning cat, he prefers to sleep late, fit in a quick brunch, then back to lounging for the rest of the afternoon. Happy to relax the day away, he also isn’t shy about letting you know when he wants some attention. Usually proceeded by a long stretch, he will stroll up and headbutt for chin scratches and a good pat . It can take him some time to build up trust with new people, so a quiet home where he can be left to settle in at his own pace is a must. He will generally let you know when he is displeased, with a silent hiss and a lift of the paw to let you know he needs some space.
Huckleberry is FIV positive and SDCH recommends he be the only cat in the home. As for dogs, safe to say he is not a fan! Currently on the mend from a much needed dental, Huckleberry is awaiting a final check up to make sure he’s comfortable and healing well. If you feel you have space in your home and your heart for a cat that is permanently set to cruise control, get in touch with the team!
