Cognac is a distinguished and refined lady who has the most gorgeous little face!

Initially she may find a hidey spot and just observe, but once you gain her trust she loves people. Tall people can be a bit scary to her, but she does appreciate people getting down to her level.

Cognac enjoys ear scratches, kneading, being combed, and sitting at your feet under a desk. She is a great WFH buddy! These activities can help establish trust and create a positive bond which has been evident in her time in foster care.

She’s gotten into a nice routine in her foster home and spends the whole evening out with her humans of a day and snoozes the day away when they are working and cannot give her all the attention. She is loving her new feather toy that she just HAS to play with every night before bed. When there is a lot of action and movement in the house she prefers the comfort of her favourite quiet caves, but will curiously watch the action from there quite happily!

Every cat is unique, and it’s essential to observe and understand their individual needs and preferences. Patience, understanding, and providing a safe and comfortable environment are crucial for helping this shy cat feel at home!
