Farmer Dave fosters for SDCH

Farmer Dave fosters for SDCH

The lovely Farmer Dave was asked by our vet and CEO, Dr Chris Cole, to foster a special boy named Claude.  Claude was not coping in the shelter environment and is a great example of animals who thrive in foster care, whilst they await their furever home.  With some great training and a normalised environment from Farmer Dave, Claude has come leaps and bounds.  He now sits before opening the door, before walking across the street and has learned how to walk perfectly on lead.  He loves to run long distances and would be a perfect pet for the active type of adopter.

Claude is now ready and rearing to find his fur-ever family – please contact the Home if you are interested in bringing Claude into your life – 02 9587 9611.

Environmental Enrichment

Why Not Donate in a Fun Way?

The Getting to Zero Euthanasia (“G2Z”) program at Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a growing sucess.  One of the essential aspects of caring for our fury friends is simply to keep them happy!  Why not help us by donating enrichment toys?

Enrichment toys help to keep them metally stimulated and learning good habits while at the Home.

For dogs we need Kong Black Extreme, Kong Red, Kong Stuff-A-Ball and Kong Wobbler, all in various sizes.

The cats would love toys such as Kitty Kongs, Kong Cat Wobblers  and Petstages Cheese Chase.
